After-School All-Stars, a national 501(c)3, is an amazing organization founded by Arnold Schwarzenegger that meaningfully engages kids in sports, activities, and continued learning after the school day ends, while keeping them off of the streets and away from drugs, violence, alcohol, and crime.  Serving more than 80,000 kids a year, cities with after school programs like After-School All-Stars experienced reduced juvenile crime rates, improved academics and test scores as well as physical fitness of participants.

Palindrome Advisors has taken a very hands on approach to working with After-School All-Stars.  Besides helping them organize a fundraiser co-sponsored with The Wilk Group, Palindrome invited kids from the local ASAS Bay Area chapter into the office to talk to them about the work we do and share our collective life experiences.  We'll continue to work with After-School All-Stars in promoting initiatives such as Hoop Heroes and Touchdown Vs. Shutdown to make sure they keep doing what they do best: helping kids succeed in school and in life.  Below are pictures from the All-Stars visit.
